We commission an artist to create an original design. Then we turn it into something our guests can take home: a hat, a shirt, a tote, a print, or something your work inspires. Every piece credits the artist behind it.
What you get

- A feature introducing you and your work to our guests, online and in the restaurant
Who we're looking for
Illustrators, painters, designers, photographers, printmakers, muralists, tattoo artists, textile artists, and anyone else with a distinct style and a point of view. If you live, work or create in Delaware or the surrounding area, we'd love to see what you do. You don't need merch experience or a restaurant connection.

Is this paid?
Yes. Every La Tolteca Presents collaboration is a paid commission, agreed in writing before any work begins.
Do I need to make something new to apply?
No. Send examples of work you’ve already made. Selected artists are paid to create a new, original design.
Do I need experience designing merchandise?
No. We handle production and will help adapt your design to the piece.
Do I have to be from Delaware?
No. We’re looking for artists from Delaware and the surrounding area.
Who owns the artwork?
You keep authorship of your work. Your written agreement spells out how the design is used for the piece and its promotion.
What kinds of pieces will you make?
It depends on the artist and the season. Hats, shirts, totes, prints and more. We’re open to your ideas.
When will I hear back?
We review every application and will reach out to artists we’d like to work with.
